My son died on December 22, 2022 while at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. In his mother’s eyes, Rick was very young. He was only 61. My husband and I arrived in Chicago on December 12 from Tulsa, OK, and had 10 days to spend with him before he passed. But we were lost. We were from out-or-state. Who do we call? What about a funeral home, and what about services? Rick lived in Chicago with his father. After he passed, I reached out to his dad to talk about the things mentioned above. He highly recommended Zarzycki Manor Chapels, located only a few blocks from where he lived. I did so, and an appointment with Zarzycki was made. The Zarzycki family consists of two sisters and their mother (Charmaine, Claudette and Andrea) who operate the facility. Everyone involved treated us with dignity and respect, and tried to make us feel at ease. They resolved all of the concerns we had, which allowed me to make final arrangements. My son would have given his full approval on the way in which Zarzyckis’ handled all of our requests. They forgot nothing, and yet, they handled all of the details with such efficiency and care. There were no mistakes. We all are so appreciative of all the efforts put forth for my son. Zarzycki Funeral Home went above and beyond for my Dad's funeral Walter Siuty in June. My Dad passed from Covid and my Mom was in the hospital due to Covid as well. I recently had my mother's Celebration of Life service at Zarzycki Manor in Willow Springs. I had previously been working with another funeral home, but decided not to work with them because of their poor customer service. I called Zarzycki and met with them the next day. Claudette spent a couple of hours with me going over what I wanted and also advising me on how to retrieve funds held by the previous funeral director that were part of a pre-need contract. She went over everything very thoroughly and arranged for a vocalist/keyboardist, flowers to surround and flank the urn and a pastor to conduct the service. Everything was perfect. It truly was a celebration. While there were a couple of tearful moments the entire service was uplifting and a fitting tribute to my mother's 102 years of life. I couldn't have given my mother a finer memorial than the one arranged by Claudette, her mother and her sister. So many who attended the service were very complimentary regarding the setting, the music and everything about it. I truly appreciate everything that was done for my family and thank The Zarzycki's for their compassion, understanding and commitment to their clients. There were many positive comments from those attending the service re: staff and facility. Transferring funeral homes could have been nerve wracking. The Zarzycki family made sure that it was not. I give them high praise in all areas.

Andrea and Claudette were very knowledgeable and tactful in offering advice yet able to step back to allow us to make decisions in the process of arrangements. They were always available and accessible from the first moment of contact, yet they weren't ever overbearing in their presence. They were very clear in explaining the protocol of the visitation and funeral and what we could expect. They were very clear in giving us direction as to what would be expected from us and when. With guarded anticipation, we were pleased to see that their stylist highlighted the beauty of our mother. Our experience as a whole was exceptional, from beginning to end. At least a dozen people at the visitation commented to me what a beautiful chapel this is. They loved the location in Willow Springs and the beauty of its surroundings. I also appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness. My 2-year-old granddaughter led me by the hand into the bathroom to show me the roomy changing table! I have nothing but good things to say about Zarzycki Manor Chapels. Oh, I must not forget to mention how beautifully they placed all the flowers and photos throughout the parlor in just the right spots--picture perfect, showcasing each floral arrangement. My mother actually had chosen this as her pre-arranged funeral home years ago when she visited for a friend's wake. Thank you Andrea, Claudette, and mom for making this a pleasant experience.

My family and I want to express our thanks to the Zarzycki Family in providing a lovely funeral for our father this year and for our mom last year. The staff made all the planning flow smoothly and treated us like family. When we first were looking for a funeral home for our mom last year we checked out other funeral homes thinking that Zarzycki's would be to expensive for us because their facility in Willow Springs is so beautiful. We were surprised to find out that it was actually more affordable that the other homes. During the funeral service we were able to use their kitchen and many of our relatives were able to relax and eat in there. So many commented that Zarzycki's was the most beautiful funeral home that they've been in.

From the minute we walked through the front door until the minute we said goodbye to dad, Claudette and her family were professional, friendly, smart and incredibly helpful. We just lost our father a few weeks ago. We are devastated by the loss of such a wonderful man, husband and father. Our family called Zarzycki Manor Chapels in Chicago to help with all arrangements including visitation.
